This time last year I wrote a blogpost on Food called Simply Cook.

In this I described how I have spent the last number of years working with people who are trying to lose weight and athletes who want that extra ‘gain’ in their performance through their diet. What both have in common is that it can be confusing for most individuals when trying to determine the correct diet to follow.

With our current busy lifestyles and easily obtained convenience food options (sometimes marketed as healthy) it is easy to make poor food choices. Sometimes we forget to question how nutritional is this food?

I received a lot of feedback from clients after this post, some struggling to find recipes, and some looking for inspiration and tips on where to find time to cook from scratch.

I’ve spent a bit of time thinking about this and rather than just post a few recipes I have asked Cian Hawes of the Purefood Company to come demonstrate some quick, healthy, locally sourced and made from scratch meals.

On the night Cian will demonstrate three dishes, Starter, Main Course, Dessert and then you will have a chance to cook and taste these dishes yourself.

With hopefully some leftover to bring home!

**Cost is 50 EURO**

All ingredients are provided on the night and you will receive a sample of Purefood Company’s award winning products.

**Book early to secure your place**

For more information on this hands-on, healthy eating, cookery demonstration please contact Martin on 083 118 5564

  • Each person will get to take home printed recipes of everything cooked on the night.
  • All ingredients and equipment is supplied!
  • Places are limited for this event so please book early.
