Monday Night: Functional Movement Class 7 pm

WIT ARENA (PAYGO €10)

Functional exercises use multiple joints and numerous muscles. This type of training, properly applied, can reduce your risk of injury and improve your quality of life. At Focus on Fitness I use it as part of a comprehensive program for athletes to improve balance, agility and muscle strength, and reducing the risk of injury.

Exercise tools, such as fitness balls, kettle bells and weights, are often used in these workouts as well as body weight.

Rowing Finished until 2018

Tuesday Morning: Indoor Rowing – 6.30 am WIT ARENA

This structured class will start on Tuesday 28th Feb, 6.30 am in WIT Arena.

Rowing is easy to learn and once the technique is mastered you will build up endurance, fitness and strength.

The plan is to train over 10 weeks with a goal of competing in the South Coast Indoor Rowing Tournament.

This is for fun and a great opportunity to train together, then go and compete as a team.

The class will be limited to 8 people due to limited number of machines.
The cost will be €100 for the 10 classes and will need to be paid in advance.
We will need both male and female to compete in the relay so all are welcome. All levels are welcome to take part.

Don’t hesitate to contact me for information.
Give a call 083 118 5564 or message if you want to book a place.

Through Martins personal involvement in my training, observing and tweaking elements as the year went on, my 2015 season consisted of me consistently knocking 7-8 minutes and sometimes more.

Whats special about training with Martin is that regardless of how many people he is training he has a massively individual approach and takes into account each persons level of fitness/performance, goals, challenges and balancing training with everyday life.
