Starting From Scratch
In June 2004, with no basic fitness or experience I began training for the October Marathon. The progress was slow, but come October I was delighted to complete the marathon in 4 hr 30 mins. This really was a life changing moment for me, I realised there are no limits when it comes to what the mind and body can achieve.
Dedication & Improvement
I continued to train and steadily improved. In 2006, looking for a new challenge I decided to try triathlon, not easy when I couldn’t swim. Since then I have completed eight Ironman, took part in The Race 2016 and 2017.
September 2017 I was 4th in AG at Ironman Chattanooga qualifying for Ironman World Championships 2018.
The Race is a six stage ‘Ultimate Endurance’ event, competing over 250 km throughout the rugged but beautiful countryside of Donegal!
Focus On Fitness
I have completely transformed my life, and now health and fitness are a central part of my existence. I love training and enjoy pushing my body to achieve new goals. I believe that with dedication and focus everyone can achieve success. This is the philosophy that I use when working with all my clients. I never tell someone they cannot reach a certain goal as I have found that with focus and commitment there are no limits to what we can achieve. I get such satisfaction from seeing people start from scratch and slowly build themselves up and I firmly believe that with the correct support and the right attitude you can do anything you want to do.
